**Job Summary:**

Provides technological support for the Anesthesiologists in the delivery of patient care for surgical anesthesia and anesthesia care for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. In these areas, the anesthesia technician is responsible for ensuring that the technology of the anesthesia is available and to assist the anesthesiologist in the application of the technology.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

**EDUCATION/Experience:**

**One of the following must be met:**

+ Graduate of an accredited high school or equivalent (GED) and at least 2 years of clinical healthcare experience; or,
+ Graduate of an accredited high school or equivalent (GED) and a current Patient Care Technician with RSFH with at least 6 months experience and in good standing; or,
