As a member of the department leadership team, this individual is responsible for leading and coordinating coverage for the chemical laboratories.


You will have the opportunity to:

+ Instructs, guides, and schedules work of combined laboratory technicians.

+ Performs chemical and physical analyses.

+ Supports and coordinates work of the multiple laboratories listed above.

+ Understands quality control and measurement techniques.

+ Ensures that Standard Operating Procedures, Job Safety Analyses, and special instructions are being followed.

+ Makes recommendations for Standard Operating Procedures improvements and revisions.

+ Supports all audit functions to maintain accreditations.

+ Supports all sections of Chemical Lab as needed.
