• Develop an in depth understanding of costing principles and cost models used when quoting new business, and help to manage the Request for Quote (RFQ) process from start to finish.
• Develop an in depth understanding of pricing models and principles used to arrive at pricing decisions and provide oversight on price change process.
• Act as point person between Sales and Finance to communicate customer and product specific details such as historical sales, margins, pricing and costs.
• Prepare regular reviews on customer/item profitability, provide recommendations for improvement, and see those recommendations through to completion and implementation.
• Other duties and ad hoc projects as required.
