What Does an ALN Teacher Do?
An ALN Teacher supports students who require additional help accessing education due to learning difficulties, disabilities, or behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored and differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Support students with conditions such as autism (ASD) , ADHD , dyslexia , and SEMH (social, emotional and mental health needs)
- Adapt teaching strategies to support engagement and progress
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals
