Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
Define and own the end-to-end algorithmic architecture for motor control, including traction, auxiliary, and hybrid motors.Develop motor control strategies such as Field-Oriented Control (FOC), Direct Torque Control (DTC), sensorless control, and torque/speed regulation.Design algorithms for inverter control, PWM modulation, current/voltage sensing, and thermal management.Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize algorithms for embedded platforms (MCU, DSP, FPGA, SoC).Ensure functional safety (ISO 26262) compliance for motor control algorithms and contribute to ASIL-level definitions.Lead model-based algorithm development and simulation using MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent tools.Define interfaces between motor control algorithms and vehicle-level systems (battery management, drivetrain, regenerative braking).Optimize algorithms for real-time execution, computat...
