Overview

The apprentice mechanic reports to the Chief Mechanic to perform aircraft and equipment maintenance tasks as requested.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Execaire's safety policy.


• Assist designated engineers, upon request, with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.


• Assist the reserve crew with maintenance tasks for transient aircraft.


• Maintain all hangar equipment and provide maintenance details to ensure the hangar equipment log is kept up to date.


• Refuel company vehicles daily.


• Assist with hangar cleanliness as requested.


• Perform work under the supervision of an authorized TEA on behalf of the maintenance manager.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Secondary V.


• Aircraft Maintenance Technician course from a Transport Canada–approved institution.
