Position Overview

MPI has a requirement for an Aircraft Avionics Technical Instructor to teach technical training to multi-national students aged 16-35 in classroom and aircraft hangar environments based in the Wolverhampton area.

Contract Details

Ongoing contract, 37 hours per week for 44.4 weeks per year (due to holiday shutdown).

Pay: PAYE £27.50 per hour, all hours worked; Umbrella PSC £37.68 per hour. Position is in scope of IR35 in the public sector.

Normal working hours are 08:30-17:00 Monday-Friday and 08:30-16:30 Friday. Hours outside this may be given in lieu.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical instruction on a topic within the Avionics discipline and allied subjects.
• Prepare lessons and produce training support material.
• Control and supervise students, applying Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.
