The Cancer Pharmacist Team at UHDB has long held a high reputation for proactive and innovative work, effective use of cutting‑edge technology, and an unparalleled responsiveness to implementing new treatments into the Trust. Working across multiple sites, the team embraces true collaborative cross‑site working, providing exceptional care to patients undergoing chemotherapy in outpatient and inpatient settings.

The team also includes several non‑medical prescribers supporting clinicians in chemotherapy clinics, independently prescribing SACT, managing toxicities, and providing support and advice to patients. Their contribution reduces clinician workload, waiting times, and improves patient experience.
