UCLH’s Eastman Dental Hospital is looking for an administrative all‑rounder to join the Restorative Dentistry team. The role involves clear, compassionate communication with the multidisciplinary team, patients and their families, as well as handling various administrative tasks to support clinical care.
Main duties of the job
- Monitor the Letter queue folder in the inbasket, complete follow‑up activities, format letters and add relevant recipients using the Clinic letter template SOP.
- Answer and manage telephone calls related to the service in a courteous and prompt manner, taking messages and delivering written or verbal information within the timeframe stated in local processes or the patient communication policy.
- Provide patients with appointment details and non‑clinical advice or guidance concerning their care.
- Resolve simple queries and determine when to refer callers to the clinical team.
