**LIABILITY CLAIMS ADJUSTER II**

**JOB SUMMARY:**

The purpose of this position is to manage and resolve general liability, automobile and other claims involving alleged bodily injury and property damages, and to pursue third party damage billing, subrogation and contractor indemnification opportunities for the company. This position is for more experienced adjusters and requires proven mastery of basic liability adjusting skills.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES BY COMPETENCY**

**Functional Expertise:**

+ Processes motor vehicle, liability and casualty claims, research and
+ gathers relevant information; evaluates claim validity; negotiates claims
+ (within a prescribed authority limit) to ensure equitable and timely
+ settlements; and communicates with involved parties.
+ Prepares and submits initial reports and tracks actions taken, claim
+ developments and status of assigned claims.
