EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Associate degree in Surgical Technology (AS/AA) or related field required.
* Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required.
* CST credential must be obtained through a national credentialing organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), such as the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
* Minimum of three (3) years of recent operating room experience in the scrub role and/or Surgical Technology teaching experience within the past five years.
* Prior postsecondary teaching experience preferred.
* Experience teaching Surgical Technology theory courses preferred.
