Position Description Summary

Henry Ford College presents an opportunity for an adjunct instructor in Humanities. 

The adjunct instructor of Humanities will be responsible primarily for providing onsite classroom instruction in Introduction to the Humanities. The instructor will be administratively responsible to the Associate Dean of the School of Liberal Arts.

Core Competencies and Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher from a regionally-accredited institution in Humanities OR master’s/MFA from one of the following qualifying fields AND a minimum of 18 graduate credits in an additional field drawn from the following disciplines: American Studies, Art, Art History, Classics, English Literature, History, Humanities, Interdisciplinary Studies, Liberal Arts, Music, Philosophy, Religion/Theology, Theater or Western/Eastern/World Civilizations.
