Overview
An adjunct in anatomy or basic sciences is responsible to teach is responsible to teach in the lecture and/or laboratory setting. Adjuncts are assigned to provide instruction in a portion of the curriculum for which they have suitable training and experience.
Responsibilities
The following outlines the basic responsibilities of this position. Other duties are to be assigned as necessary.
+ Prepare and deliver lectures or laboratory lessons on assigned topics
+ Participate in assessment of student performance through appropriate examination methods as assigned
+ Promote an appropriate atmosphere for student education and be responsive to students' needs
+ Serve on TouroCOM committees as assigned.
+ Provide reports, budgetary information, and other documents as requested by department chairs, directors, and deans
