Role Summary

The ward-based Chilgrove team are looking to recruit a dynamic and engaging Activities Co-Ordinator who will actively engage our patient cohort in the promotion of creative and recreational activities, based in a friendly, well led environment. Under the guidance of senior staff, the post holder will lead and assist in the delivery of activities to a range of patients within the medically optimised for discharge cohort. Activities will be delivered one to one or via group work and can include creative, social and physical activities. Based at St Richard’s Hospital, the successful candidate will be able to make use of the day room area for the organisation of activities. This role will take an active part in providing holistic care, reducing deconditioning and length of stay.
