JOB DESCRIPTION: ACTIVITY ASSISTANT
DEPARTMENT: ACTIVITIES
SUPERVISOR: ACTIVITY DIRECTOR
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To provide a therapeutic activity program that meets all Federal and State guidelines as well as the needs and interests of all residents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of High School Diploma
• Activity certification preferred.
• One year experience working in long term care setting is preferred.
• Desirable characteristics: energetic, good listener, considerate, flexible, patient,
helpful, friendly, kind, and able to motivate others and generate enthusiasm.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with a wide variety of leisure time activities.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
