Position Overview
**Job Description:**
This position plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operations of the Residential Living Unit’s Activity Department in accordance with current Federal and State guidelines and regulations.
**Essential Functions**
+ Develop individualized plans of care for residents by assessing the resident using the MDS/RAI and incorporating residents’ interests, preferences, needs, and strengths.
+ Develops the facility activity program in compliance with state and federal regulations to promote the residents’ medical, spiritual, social and recreational needs.
+ Develops program to include evening and weekend activities.
+ Develops activities appropriate for residents with physical, mobility, sensory and cognitive deficits.
+ Coordinates with and supervises community agencies, volunteers and staff to provide planned activities for the residents.
