Our client in New Hyde Park, NY is seeking a motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This is an excellent entry-level role for a recent accounting graduate who is eager to get their foot in the door and build a strong foundation in accounting and finance.

Main Duties:

+ Assist with posting customer payments

+ Prepare and send invoices to clients

+ Monitor accounts for outstanding balances

+ Follow up on past-due accounts via phone and email

+ Reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies

+ Maintain accurate records and update customer account information

+ Support the accounting team with additional administrative and clerical tasks as needed
