Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support a non-profit organization in Rochester, New York. This Long-term Contract position focuses on maintaining accurate payment processing, reviewing invoice details carefully, and helping ensure timely disbursements to vendors. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounts payable experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with financial data and established procedures.

Responsibilities:
• Process vendor invoices from receipt through payment while verifying accuracy, approvals, and proper supporting documentation.
• Assign correct general ledger or account coding to invoices to help maintain organized and accurate financial records.
• Prepare and execute ACH payments and check runs in accordance with scheduled deadlines and internal controls.
