We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance team.
The Accounts Payable specialist will assist in the monthly close process, help maintain an effective internal control environment, and assist with our financial reporting responsibilities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Review invoices for accuracy and proper approvals.
Confirm that the correct general ledger account codes are used.
- Match invoices to purchase orders.
- Inspect paid and unpaid invoices including cleared payment inquiries and check voiding to maintain accurate files and records.
- Assist with the setup of new suppliers.
- Respond to external vendors and internal managers regarding all aspects of the accounts payable process, including processing invoices for payment.
