Position Overview


I'm working with a market-leading business to recruit a Financial Controller with strong Sales & Purchase Ledger experience. This is a hands-on role with added responsibility around reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily bank reconciliations (Excel-based)
  • Processing customer receipts & supplier payments
  • Managing sales & purchase ledger
  • Matching transactions across systems
  • Preparing customer/supplier statements
  • Checking expenses & calculating commissions
  • Supporting internal finance queries
  • Ensuring VAT, payroll, pensions etc. are paid on time
  • Supporting monthly & quarterly reporting
  • Analysing P&L variances and profitability
  • What You'll Need

  • Proven finance experience (ledger essential)
  • Strong Excel skills (non-negotiable)
  • High attention to detail & ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferred)
