Responsibilities and Duties
Lead monthly and quarterly financial reporting and consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations and reporting to headquarters.Oversee subsidiary financial data to ensure compliance with Japanese GAAP and local GAAP, and resolve reporting discrepancies.Manage audit and tax processes by coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors, and overseeing preparation of required filings.Direct budgeting and forecasting processes, conduct variance analysis, and provide financial insights and KPI analysis to support management decision-making.Develop and maintain internal controls (J-SOX/US-SOX), strengthen governance frameworks, and ensure compliance with transfer pricing and other regulatory requirements.Supervise and develop the accounting team, oversee full-cycle closing (month-end, quarter-end, year-end), and manage day-to-day accounting operations including GL...
