Description
We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day financial operations for a Contract position based in Santa Barbara, California. This role is well suited to someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling both payables and receivables in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will help maintain accurate financial records, process transactions efficiently, and contribute to smooth accounting workflows using Workday and Excel.
Responsibilities:
• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and prepare items for approval before payment is issued.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial records remain accurate and up to date.
