Accounting Administrator

Position Overview

Responsibilities


Including, but not limited to:


  • Maintain bookkeeping records up to trial balance

  • Process supplier invoices, perform reconciliations, and manage payments

  • Administer municipal accounts, including handling queries and meter reconciliations

  • Prepare and submit VAT and dividends tax returns

  • Compile monthly management accounts/packs

  • Prepare annual audit files and supporting documentation

  • Assist with basic payroll processing and payroll tax administration

  • Provide support to the Financial Manager with:

    • Reviewing payment packs

    • Monitoring company tax liabilities

    • Compiling and reviewing management accounts

    • Performing basic CIPC secretarial duties




Requirements



  • BCom Degree or Diploma with Accounting as a major
