Description
Our client, a growing organization in the non-profit space located in Downtown Houston, is seeking a Staff Accountant on a contract-to-hire basis. This opportunity comes at an exciting time as the accounting team prepares to take on a newly acquired entity, creating strong long-term growth potential for the right individual.

This is a fully on-site role with a collaborative team environment, where each accountant owns their respective entities while working closely together as a group.


Key Responsibilities

+ Perform full-cycle accounting for assigned entities

+ Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

+ Support month-end close, including reconciliations and journal entries

+ Handle grant billing activities and reporting

+ Process and manage HUD and government billing requirements
