What you need to know about the role

As a Accountant at British Steel, you will be providing accounting and financial support, notably the production of regular standardised financial reports and other analysis to facilitate reviews of business performance and support other key business decisions.

You will work closely with the rest of the finance team to ensure consistent best practice is developed and maintained across the function.

Key Responsibilities

* Complete Weekly and Monthly Production Evaluation Performance Models to the required deadline.

* Complete month-end close activities, including accruals, journals, and variance commentary
