Account Executive Role
Account Executives play a key role in Gartner’s sustained growth, and have access to C‑Level executives worldwide. The role focuses on renewal and retention of clients as well as generating new revenue.
Responsibilities
- Achieve a quota of approximately $1.2 m USD in contract value while managing 10–20 large enterprise accounts.
- Retain and grow existing clients by partnering closely with Customer Success and internal Gartner teams.
- Conduct client meetings throughout the year to review ROI, align priorities, and ensure timely renewal of services.
- Drive outbound activity to generate a consistent volume of new opportunities.
- Partner with C‑Level executives to develop and implement effective enterprise‑wide strategies.
- Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Contribute best practices and collaborate positively within the team.
