Purpose of the Role

The Data Quality Officer will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of programme data by overseeing data collection, validation, and quality assurance processes within the Global Fund-supported HIV/TB programmes in Bojanala. The role includes mentorship, capacity building, and collaboration with data capturers and M&E staff to drive high‑quality reporting and evidence‑based decision‑making.

Key Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine data capturing using static tools and systems. Review and validate data submitted by field teams, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Conduct regular one‑on‑one mentorship sessions with staff who submit incomplete or incorrect data, and document these sessions. Identify root causes of data quality issues and work closely with the M&E Manager to resolve them and implement improvements.
