Position Summary:

The primary function of a Sandblast and Painter is to prepare and finish metal with primer and paint.

Prepare metal for sandblast and paint

Perform sandblast and pain operations

Follow all safety rules and guidelines, safe operation of all equipment

Use measurement devices to measure & record sandblast profile, primer & paint wet & dry mill thickness

Perform daily maintenance routines on paint prep and blast equipment

Clean blast booth and lights and conduct any routine upkeep and or maintenance as required.

Keep blast and prep area picked up and free of steel, tools, and other debris.

Follow safe operating and lifting procedures for overhead cranes

Operate forklifts and other material...
