POSITION TITLE: Lecturer Pool – Physics and Astronomy

POSITION DETAILS: The Department of Physics and Astronomy has been preparing students for graduate school, teaching careers and industrial employment for over 65 years. We are seeking qualified part-time lecturer faculty to primarily teach introductory algebra-based and calculus-based Physics courses and the associated labs, as well as introductory General Education courses in Physics and Astronomy. 

Duties of a part-time lecturer include instruction, class preparation, grading, and office hours. Other duties may be assigned based on departmental needs. Course assignments, including dates, time, and modality, are made by the Department Chair under the direction of the College Dean.
