Employer Specialist

We are offering a full-time permanent position for an Employer Specialist. The role involves building and maintaining long-term relationships with local employers in the health sector to support the recruitment of Internationally-Educated Health Professionals (IEHPs) and to create work experience opportunities that lead to sustainable employment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Makes cold calls and conducts online/in-person meetings with potential employers to develop work placement opportunities that match participants’ skills, training, work experience, interests, and career goals.
• Maintains productive ongoing relationships with existing employers and actively reaches out to establish relationships with new employers.
• Provides individualized support to employers in enhancing their ability to better hire, develop, and retain IEHPs.
